Leslie Chinn helped the Kentucky Wesleyan women's soccer team start off the 2013 season with a bang recording two goals in the Panthers 5-0 win against cross town rival Brescia Thursday night at Thompson-Berry Park.
Chinn scored the first goal of the night on a through ball from classmate
Paige Kramer in the 21st minute.
Prior to halftime freshman
Penni Pluimer found the back of the net off of a corner kick on an assist from freshman
Ellen Tichenor.
Chinn earned her second goal of the night less than a minute into the second half getting the ball passed goalie Cobie Harrison on an assist from sophomore
Lauren Norton.
Kramer posted her second assist of the evening when freshman
Rhiannon Moore made it a 4-0 game in the 66th minute.
Junior
Annie Elder scored the Panthers fifth and final goal in the 82nd minute.
KWC hosts their home opener on Sunday, Sept. 8 against Bellarmine at 3 p.m.
