Playing in their season opener the Kentucky Wesleyan men's soccer team came up short against Asbury Friday night falling 3-1 in Wilmore, Ky.
The Eagles made it a 1-0 game in the 13th minute of the first half.
Asbury outshot the Panthers in the first half 12-5, but the Panthers had the 2-0 advantage in corner kicks.

Christakis Agisilaou.
The Eagles picked up two late goals, scoring in the 82nd and 85th minute to give Asbury the 3-1 win.
During the second half of action the Panthers had four shots and one corner kick. Asbury tallied six shots and two corner kicks. Sophomore
Travis Rowland recorded eight saves in 90 minutes of play for KWC.
The Panthers return to action on Sunday, Sept. 8 at Southern Indiana. Game time is slated for 1:30 p.m.
