Senior
Kaitie Whitney scored the lone goal of the first half on an assist from junior
Paige Kramer in the 25th minute to put the Panthers ahead 1-0.
KWC outshot the Eagles 14-2 in the first 45 minutes of play.
During the second half, sophomore
Audrey Taylor extended the lead to two for KWC in the 63rd minute, finding the back of the net on an assist from freshman
Katy Holland.
Junior
Annie Elder found Kramer, who put the ball past the Asbury goalkeeper, two minutes later to make it a 3-0 game.
Taylor closed out the scoring in the 73rd minute on Kramer's ninth assist of the season.
The Panthers had 29 shots in the win.
Sophomore
Kathryn Dishion earned the victory for KWC in the goal, tallying three saves on the afternoon.
The Panthers return to G-MAC play on Saturday, Sept. 28, hosting Trevecca Nazarene at 2:30 p.m.
