Kentucky Wesleyan men lost 2-1 against Bellarmine on Tuesday evening as all the scoring took place in the first 40 minutes.
The Knights scored first on a goal by John Cantrell at the 17-minute mark and Andy Diehl-Selk followed with a penalty kick 10 minutes later.
Haris Dzaferbegovic came off the bench to put the Panthers on the scoreboard at the 39th minute on a pass from
Blake Cobb.
Bellarmine recorded 11 shots with 10 coming in the first half. KWC totaled nine with six in the second half.
Blake Hunter had three saves for the Knights and
Travis Rowland collected two for KWC.
The Panthers (1-3-1) host Cedarville on Saturday at noon in their inaugural Great Midwest Athletic Conference game.
