The Kentucky Wesleyan men's soccer team came back from being down 3-1 to win 5-4 in overtime against Southwest Baptist Sunday afternoon. Junior
Christakis Agisilaou's overtime goal gave the Panthers their first win of the season, as they improve to 1-2-1.
Southwest Baptist went ahead 1-0 in the 13th minute of play, but KWC tied the game five minutes later on a goal by sophomore
Travis Foreman. Agisilaou earned the assist on Foreman's goal.
Kaleb Romero put the Bearcats back ahead after lobbing the ball over sophomore goalkeeper
Travis Rowland at the 38:29 mark.
Southwest Baptist outshot the Panthers 11-10 in the first 45 minutes of action and had the 3-2 advantage in corner kicks.
The Bearcats extended their lead to two goals early in the second half.
In the 73rd minute Agisilaou found the back of the net on an assist from junior
Gary McMeekin.
Southwest Baptist pushed the lead back to two goals after Romero earned a hat trick in the 79th minute.

Six minutes into overtime Agisilaou, who was near the end line, put the ball past goalkeeper Austin Haywood. Senior
Haris Dzaferbegovic earned the assist on the game winning goal.
KWC outshot the Bearcats 24-18, while Southwest Baptist had the 6-5 advantage in corner kicks.
Rowland collected three saves in the win.
Next up for the Panthers is a home contest versus Bellarmine on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 6 p.m. at Steele Stadium.
