Rhiannon Moore, a midfielder from Waynseville High School in Waynesville, Mo., signed a national letter-of-intent to continue her academic and soccer careers at Kentucky Wesleyan College, according to head coach, Jamie Duvall.
Moore, a three year starter for head coach Mike Gow, where she has played in 65 games and produced 26 goals and 20 assists. She will play her senior season in late March through May.
Her postseason awards include receiving all-district team honors twice and all-conference recognition once during her first three seasons for the Tigers.
"Rhiannon is a versatile player with great size at 5-foot-7 and tremendous ball striking ability," said Duvall.
"She can play in the midfield and up front and provides us with another legitimate scoring threat. I think that she will quickly adapt to the college game and help us right away."
Moore also played club soccer for Missouri Elite under coach Kait Loney and also for Lady Hawks Soccer Club under coach Dave Neeley.
She also participated on the Waynesville basketball team as a two-year letterwinner.
Her academic successes involve membership into the National Honor Society and the A Honor Roll.
Moore also has been involved in student government for four years while serving as president of her junior and senior classes.
She is the daughter of John and Laurie Moore of Waynesville, Mo.
