Women’s soccer season comes to an end in G-MAC Tournament

Playing in the opening round of the G-MAC Tournament the #6 seed Kentucky Wesleyan women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to #3 seed Alderson Broaddus Saturday night. The Panthers end the season with a 10-8 record, while going 4-6 in their inaugural season in the G-MAC. KWC posted it's best season in program history with the 10 wins.

The Battler took the 1-0 lead after finding the back of the net following 30 minutes of play.

The Panthers were held to only one shot during the first 45 minutes of play, but had the 3-0 advantage in corner kicks.

During the second half of play KWC had six shots, but they were unable to put the ball past the Alderson Broaddus goalkeeper. The Panthers held the Battler to only two shots during the second 45 minutes of play and they had the 2-1 edge in corner kicks.

Sophomore Kathryn Dishion had one save in goal for the Panthers.
