Georgetown jumped out to a two-goal lead in the first half and held on to defeat Kentucky Wesleyan 2-0 in women's soccer action at Steele Stadium on Wednesday night.

Alexandria Harbowy (10:29) and Sarah Hencke (31:20) each scored a goal.

The Panthers outshot the Tigers 22-14. Kathryn Dishion collected six saves for KWC.

KWC (0-3, 0-2) hosts Great Lakes Valley Conference foe Maryville (Mo.) on Friday night at Steele for a 7:30 CT kickoff.
