The Panthers opened the Great Lakes Valley Conference soccer season at No. 1 Northern Kentucky with a 12-0 loss on Friday afternoon.

The Norse (2-0, 1-0) held on for a 2-0 halftime before the bottom fell out for KWC (2-1, 0-1).

Panther goalies Nick Snyder collected five saves and Peter Stoll had one.

KWC hosts Bellarmine on Sunday at noon.
