Kentucky Wesleyan jumped out to a 3-1 lead against visiting Saint Joseph's but was not able to hold on as the Panthers stumble in overtime 4-3 in Great Lakes Valley Conference action on Friday afternoon.

After a scoreless half, the Pumas got the board at the 57th minute with a direct kick from Kevin Amaizo. KWC then quickly answered with three goals in four minutes.

Senior Sam Waninger (Rockport, Ind./Heritage Hills HS) scored at the 69th minute on a pass from freshman Christakis Agisilaou (Owensboro, Ky./Owensboro HS).

Freshman Joel Sallee (Owensboro/Owensboro HS) followed at the 72nd minute with a goal on a direct kick.
Agisilaou scored KWC's final goal at the 73rd minutes on an assist from Waninger.

SJC (4-4-1, 4-2-1 GLVC) then scored two straight by Cole Galloway and Tyler Blankenship to force the overtime. Galloway scored the game-winning goal on a rebound shot at the 99th minute.

Panther freshman goalie Peter Stoll (Newark, Ohio/Granville HS) collected eight saves and Michael Korman had three for the Pumas.

KWC had eight shots to Saint Joseph's 18.

The Panthers (2-8, 0-7) host Indianapolis on Sunday at Noon.
