Peter Vaccaro scored the winning goal, his second of the day, on a pass from Trent Doerner. Vaccaro opened the game in the first two minutes with a goal.

The Miners bounced back with a goal by Spencer Brinkmeyer from Kramer Hall with 22 seconds remaining to send it into overtime.
Freshman
Peter Stoll (Newark, OH/Granvile HS) collected 11 saves and Matt Jackson had three for S&T. The Panthers had seven shots to the Miners 24.
