Bellarmine jumped out to a 5-0 halftime lead as they cruised past Kentucky Wesleyan 9-0 at Panther Field on Sunday afternoon.
Eight different Knights scored including Jacob Kaye with two. KWC recorded four shots to BU's 21.
Panther freshman goalie Nick Snyder (Lamar, Ind./Heritage Hills HS) collected six saves while the Knights goalie Blake Hunter had four.
KWC went to 2-2 overall and 0-2 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play while Bellarmine extended their record to 3-1 and 2-0.
Bellarmine recorded three first-half goals as four different Knights scored as they went on to defeat Kentucky Wesleyan 4-0 in soccer action at Panther Field on Sunday afternoon.
Panther goalie Troyana Hardy (Madisonville, Ky./Madisonville North Hopkins HS) collected 11 saves and the Knights Amy Kunowski grabbed three. BU posted 25 shots and KWC had six.
Bellarmine moved to 3-0-1 and 2-0 in Great Lakes Valley Conference competition while the Panthers are 0-2 and 0-2.
KWC will host Drury next Friday at 2:30 p.m.
