Kentucky Wesleyan's Chris Owen received the first Great Lakes Football Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors for 2010 with his performances in the home season opener versus Indianapolis last Thursday.

Owen, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound senior quarterback from Evansville, Ind. (Central HS), completed 22 of 38 passes with no interceptions for 258 yards and one touchdown in the 38-10 loss.
   
Kentucky Wesleyan (0-1) will host the Pikeville Bears (0-1) on Saturday at 6 p.m.
