Freshman Tyler Cockriel scored his first collegiate goal for Kentucky Wesleyan unassisted in the first half but it was not enough as Saint Joseph's won 2-1 in overtime on Sunday afternoon.

SJC's Corey Lesure tied the game three minutes later and ended the half 1-1. Both teams went scoreless in the second half. Ryan Melson scored the game winning goal on a corner kick from Cole Galloway in the first 55 seconds of the overtime period.
 

The Pumas (3-1-1, 3-1-1 GLVC) held the edge on shots with 18 and the Panthers 10. KWC goal keepers Ryan Samuels and Stephen Smith combined for seven saves.

The Panthers (2-5, 0-5 GLVC) travel to Illinois-Springfield on Friday and Lewis on Saturday.
