Kentucky Wesleyan College and the Cromwell Radio Group have reached a partnership extension to broadcast Panther athletics, according to KWC Director of Athletics Gary Gallup.
"We are very enthusiastic to be able to continue our partnership agreement with Cromwell," said Gallup. "This provides continuity for us, our sports programs and KWC fans. WVJS and WBIO audience penetration, increased ratings and expanded programming are tremendous features for us."
Under the extension, WVJS-AM 1420 and FM 100.5 will continue to be the flagship station for all football games and selected baseball, women's basketball and softball contests. WBIO-FM 94.7 for the 15th straight season will broadcast all men's basketball games.
All broadcasts will also be streamed on the athletic website: www.kwcpanthers.com.
"We are once again excited to be a partner of the Kentucky Wesleyan College Sports Network," said Lee Wilson, Cromwell Radio Group general manager. "Since our first broadcast in the fall of 1996 it has been a win-win situation for the both of us."
WVJS and WBIO are located at 1115 Tamarack Road in Owensboro.
