Kentucky Wesleyan's Savannah Pepper scored the game's lone goal with 54 seconds remaining in the second overtime period to vault the Panthers to a 1-0 Great Lakes Valley Conference soccer victory over visiting Maryville on Sunday afternoon.
KWC goalies Natalie McCaslin and Alanna Miller combined for eight saves. The Panthers (3-11, 2-11 GLVC) posted 13 shots to Maryville's (2-10-2, 2-9-1 GLVC) 17.
Prior to the contest, the College honored the seven seniors – Stephanie Butler, McCaslin, Miller, Katie Robertson, Brittany Setters, Katlyn Smith and Kristen Utley.
The Panthers will play at cross-town rival Brescia on Tuesday, Oct. 19, at 7 p.m.
