Kristen Chinn scored two goals as Kentucky Wesleyan defeated Illinois-Springfield 3-0 for their second straight Great Lakes Valley Conference win at Panther Field on Sunday.
Nora Karvonen scored the Panthers (5-4-1, 3-4-0) first goal on an assist with Katlyn Smith at the 7:15 mark. Chinn then teamed up with Kristen Utley for the next two goals at the 20:55 minute and again at the 37:11 mark.
KWC goalie Alanna Miller recorded her five shutout of the season by collecting three saves. The Panthers had eight shots-on-goal to the Prairie Stars three.
The Panthers host Brescia on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
