Kentucky Wesleyan dominated Illinois-Springfield with four first-half goals as the Panthers (3-8, 1-6) won 4-0 to earn their first victory in Great Lakes Valley Conference play at Panther Field on Sunday.
Dustin Davis started the scoring spree with a goal with two-minutes into the contest from an assist by Sam Wanninger. Luke Church then scored on a direct kick at the 13th minute mark.
John Grieb scored on a give-and-go from Kyle Wood at the 22nd minute. Wojciech Stanowski scored the final goal on an assist from Luke Church at the 30th minute.
KWC had six shots-on-goal to the Prairie Stars (1-7-1, 0-6-1) two.The Panthers host Brescia on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
