Kentucky Wesleyan fell to visiting Great Lakes Valley Conference foe Lewis 3-2 on Friday afternoon at Panther Field.
Lewis' Charlie Bucio scored on an assist from Nestor Hernandez at the 10:21 mark. KWC's Ben Nitch scored on a header from #A. J. Roberto#. The Flyers (5-2-1, 4-2-0) then scored two straight from Hernandez and Kip Cartwright.
The Panthers (2-8, 0-6) then scored on an own goal with 30 second remaining. Ryan Samuels collected nine saves for KWC. Lewis had 12 shots-on-goal to the Panthers three.
KWC host new GLVC member Illinois-Springfield on Sunday at Noon.
