Kentucky Wesleyan fell short in their bid to upset No. 6 Drury with a 2-1 loss at Steele Stadium on Friday afternoon.

Dustin Davis scored the Panthers () only goal on an assist from #A. J. Roberto# at the 32 minute mark. Drury's Steve Wiczewski then scored two straight goals in a five minute span in the second half at the 69 and 74 mark.

KWC goalie Ryan Samuels collected six saves. Drury out shot KWC eight to three. KWC (4-11-1, 1-9-1) hosts Missouri S&T on Sunday at noon.
