Rockhurst (6-4-1, 5-2-1) opened with three straight goals, one in the first half and two in the second, before Kristen Chinn scored the Panthers (6-6-1, 3-6-0) lone goal unassisted at the 69 minute mark.

KWC goalie Alanna Miller collected seven saves. The Hawks outshot the Panthers 10 to four.
