Kristen Utley tied the score for the Panthers on a pass from Kristen Chinn at the 62nd minute mark. USI responded less than a minute later on a game winning goal by Kara Georgeff.
KWC goalie Alanna Miller recorded seven saves. USI edged the Panthers in shots-on-goal nine-to-seven.
