Andrew Kirkland

Andrew Kirkland joined the Kentucky Wesleyan College baseball coaching staff prior to the 2019 season after completing a four-year playing career with the Panthers.  He serves as the recruiting coordinator while coaching the infielders and hitters.

Kirkland has played a part in 126 wins over the past six seasons and is now headed into his seventh year as part of Lillpop's staff.
 
A two-time All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference selection, Kirkland started in all but one game starting in his sophomore season.  His junior season (2017), Kirkland posted a career best .333 batting average.  He recorded 164 hits throughout his career including 61 his senior season.  During his senior season, Kirkland smashed 12 home runs and 10 doubles, driving in 55 while scoring 38 runs himself.

Kirkland earned his Bachelor of Science in Fitness and Sport Management from Kentucky Wesleyan in 2018.
 
A native of Louisville, Ky., Kirkland currently resides in Owensboro.
