Emanuel Scott was named an Assistant Wrestling Coach prior to the 2023-24 season.
Scott comes to Wesleyan after a season at Chadron State (DII) in Nebraska, where he aided the Eagles to three national qualifiers at the 133, 184, and 285 weight classes. Quentrevion Campbell, who wrestled in the 133 weight class, finished as the NCAA runner-up that season. Prior to his time at Chadron State, Scott coached for two years (2020-22) at Iowa Lakes Community College. While working with the Lakers, Scott coached eight national qualifiers, two All-Americans, a national runner-up at 197, and a national champion at 285. He started his coaching career at the high school level, coaching for three years at Evergreen Valley High School in California.
Scott received his Bachelor's in Sports Management from Northwestern College (Iowa) in 2017, and a Master's in Physical Education: Coaching from Southwest Minnesota State in 2022.
