Brandon Crawford took the reigns as the head wrestling coach at Kentucky Wesleyan in September of 2022. Crawford serves as the third head coach in program history.
Prior to Wesleyan Crawford spent four years at Clay High School in Green Cove Springs, Florida. During his time with the Blue Devils, he assisted in the continued development and success of the winningest program in North Florida history.
In his final season, Clay would finish as the State dual runner-up, dual Regional Champions, and dual District Champions. The Devils would later capture their 23rd straight District Title, their 19th of the last 23 Regional Titles and an eighth-place team finish at the State IBT Tournament.
Crawford would finish his time at Clay having coached and mentored four individual State Champions and 17 State placers in his short time.
A native of Hope Mills, NC, Crawford spent just under 13 years in the United States Army, where he earned a Combat Infantry Badge, Army Parachutist Wings, The Expert Infantrymen Badge and several other achievements and certifications, such as Level 2 Army Combatives. Crawford is a USA Wrestling member who is both copper and bronze coaching certified. He is also a member of the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA)
Crawford earn a bachelors in Sports Science from Post University in 2016. Two years later in 2018, Crawford received his masters in Kinesiology from Louisiana State.
Crawford and his significant other Brittany reside in Owensboro. They have two kids, Mikal and Makenzy.
