Andrew Parker was hired as assistant wrestling coach at Kentucky Wesleyan College during the spring of 2022. Parker a four-year member of the Panthers' wrestling team will assist with all facets of the program, including recruitment, athlete development, practice, and training sessions.Â
Parker's finished his career with 28 career wins, including six major decisions, and four tech falls. He also won the program's first ever match at NCAA Regionals. In the 2022 NCAA Super Regionals, Parker finished sixth overall and helped the Panthers to their best ever finish in the post season. The second half of Parker's senior season he competed on a torn ACL, with his performance he was awarded Kentucky Wesleyan's Comeback Athlete of the Year at the 2022 WESPYs.Â
Parker graduated with a bachelors degree in Business Administration in 2022. A native of Clarksville, Tennessee, Parker currently resides in Owensboro.Â
