Eric Hagan

Eric Hagan enters his 9th season as head volleyball coach at Kentucky Wesleyan College in 2022-2023. He served as assistant coach to the Panthers for the previous four seasons, Hagan has produced a 49-76 record in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference in nine seasons. 

In the newly expanded Great Midwest Conference, the Panthers produced a 9-8 mark in league play to qualify for the 2017 G-MAC Tournament for the fourth consecutive season under Hagan's direction. In 2018-19 the Panthers finished with a 14-16 mark with an 8-11 record in the G-MAC. Overall the Panthers finished ninth in the league standings.

Hagan became the first coach in KWC volleyball history to produced a winning record in his first season as the Panthers won 16 games in 29 contests while making it to the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship semifinals.

Hagan came to KWC with 15 years coaching experience. He spent two seasons as an assistant at his alma mater Owensboro Catholic High School following four years at Daviess County High School and two seasons at Brescia University. He also has coached at the club level for 15 seasons.

He also currently serves as a coach and board member for the Audubon Volleyball Association (AVA), a USA Junior Club for girls from western Kentucky, southern Indiana and southern Illinois, a position he has held for six years.

He also has coaching certificates from USA Volleyball's IMPACT Program and the Coaching Accreditation Program Level I (CAP). His playing experience includes over 20 years on the court.
 
Hagan holds memberships in USA Volleyball as a coach and player, plus the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA).
