• NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete

• Played in 20 games, earning 17 starts
• Finished with .191 batting average with three doubles and one homerun
• Knocked in four RBIs and scored seve runs

2018:

• Academic All-GMAC
• Played in 26 games, making 18 starts.
• Finished with a .298 batting average with five doubles, two homeruns, and nine RBIs.
• Went 3 for 3 with a double on March 25th against Hillsdale.
• Collected 3 hits in a game on April 8th at Ohio Valley. She also recorded a double and drove-in 2 runs. 

2017:

• Saw action in 30 games, making 23 starts.
• Finished the season with 9 hits, including 4 doubles.
• Drove in 8 runs in 65 plate appearances. 

2016:

• Played in 19 games and started in five contests
• Totaled 24 plate appearances
• Recorded 1 hit and scored 2 runs
• Collected 1 double and registered 4 putouts.

Daviess County High School: Four-year starter at catcher…coached by John Biggs. Senior—Batted .245…produced 26 hits in 106 at bats…drove in 4 runs…notched three doubles and one triple…scored 16 runs…stole one base…started all 40 games. Junior—Hit .387…posted a .587 slugging percentage…registered two home runs…recorded 26 RBIs…accumulated 29 hits in 75 plate appearances…scored 18 runs…had one stolen base…started all 26 contests. Sophomore—Produced a .286 batting average…delivered 20 hits in 70 appearances at the plate…batted in 18 runs…had five doubles and one triple…scored 14 runs…started all 24 outings. Freshman—Started all 36 games…posted a .202 batting average…had seven RBIs…logged 20 hits in 99 at bats…recorded three doubles…nine stolen bases. Career—Started 136 consecutive contests…finished with a .266 batting average…knocked in a fourth-best 76 runs…accumulated an eighth-best 20 doubles, two triples and two home runs…collected a sixth-best 96 hits in 361 plate appearances…stole 11 bases…scored an eighth-best 50 runs…recorded .349 slugging percentage.
 
Personal: Caitlyn is the daughter of Kenny and Stacy Lawson.  She has two sisters, Emily and Jenna. Caitlyn is majoring in Education, with an emphasis is Special Education and Language Arts.
