Junior College: First-team all-region honoree at first base for Wabash Valley College in Mt. Carmel, Ill…played two seasons for coach Paul Schnarre.

High School: First-team all-state performer at Castle High School…pitched and played first base…also twice received all-conference and All-Metro honors…led the Evansville area in batting average…coached by Pat Lockyear…also lettered as a setter on the volleyball team…named all conference.
