Brett Miller joined the Kentucky Wesleyan College Department of Athletics in the fall of 2013 as the Assistant Coach to the men’s basketball program.

During his first four seasons at Kentucky Wesleyan, Miller has compiled a 99-24 record including two Great Midwest Athletic Conference regular season titles as well as two G-MAC Conference tournament titles.  The Panthers have made two NCAA Tournament appearances with Miller while holding a team GPA over 3.0 during both the 2014-15 and 2016-17 seasons.

Prior to Kentucky Wesleyan, Miller spent four seasons at the University of Kentucky as a student manager and then a graduate assistant with the men’s basketball team.  The Wildcats tabbed two regular season SEC titles, two conference championships, two trips to the Final Four, three to the Elite 8, and one national title in 2012.  While at UK, Miller was the recipient of the Bill Keightley Assist Catspy Award, an award given to the student assistant at the University who exemplified all of Bill Keightley’s characteristics including work ethic, commitment to their team as well as being an ambassador to their team and community.

Since 2012 Miller has spent the summer working with the Dominican Republic Men’s National Basketball team.  In 2014, the team qualified for the World Cup in Spain, the first time that the Dominican Republic qualified in over 40 years.  Miller brought home a gold medal with the team in 2012 at the CentroBasket Championships.

Miller also spent two seasons at Coastal Carolina University as the basketball student manager.

A native of Richmond, Ky., Miller earned a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from the University of Kentucky in 2013.  Miller obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History Education with a minor in Political Science in 2012, also from the University of Kentucky.

Miller currently resides in Owensboro, Ky.
