South Warren High School: Three-year starter at linebacker…second-team all-state as a junior and third-team all-state as a senior…chosen to Best of the Blue Grass All-State team…twice named all-district…two-time SWHS Defensive Most Valuable Player…helped the Spartans to a 11-2 record and the district championship and the region championship game in 2013… coached by Mark Nelson. Senior—grabbed a record 129 total tackles and four sacks as a senior…broke up 10 passes…had three interceptions…blocked one punt for a touchdown. Career—Collected a record 301 total tackles and a second-best 14 sacks…defended 21 passes…had three interceptions…blocked two punts…caught one pass for 22 yards…returned two kickoffs for 43 yards…holds single game interception record with two. Personal: Born June 23, 1996 in Bowling Green, Ky…son of Garry and Bonnie Chaffin…his father played tight end for KWC’s first football team in 1983…has three brothers.
