Ken Ackerman joined the Kentucky Wesleyan College Department of Athletics in January 2019 as the Offensive Line and Strength and Conditioning Coach for the football team.
Ackerman came to Wesleyan from Kentucky State where he served as the Offensive Coordinator and Recruiting Coordinator for the Thorobreds. Ackerman also spent time at Humboldt State, serving as the Tight Ends Coach.
In his playing days, Ackerman received All-Western Athletic Conference Honors, starting 29 games at the University of Nevada. He also spent time playing professionally, competing in the Indoor Football League for the Reno Barons and the Tri-Cities Fever.
