Kentucky Wesleyan College Athletics

Glen Rowell joined the Kentucky Wesleyan College Department of Athletics in the summer of 2019 serves as the Recruiting Coordinator/Defensive Line Coach. Prior to his promotion, Rowell spent time coaching the defensive tackles and serving as the Community Relations Coordinator for the Panthers.

Rowell came to KWC from Hoopeston High School (Ill.), where he coached two All-Conference players as an assistant coach. 

A former wrestler, Rowell was an assistant wrestling coach at Danville HS (Ill.) from 2016-19 where he coached 12 sectional qualifiers and a 3x state placer. Rowell began his coaching career with the Danville Carver Park Bears youth football team, where he coached from 2014-2017. A former wrestler, 

Rowell was a two-year starter at Kentucky Christian, where he was a preseason All-Conference and All-America selection.  The Danville, Illinois native graduated from Kentucky Christian with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Management and Marketing, and Biblical Studies. He is also an assistant wrestling coach for the Panthers.
