In July of 2019, Chase Burton was hired at Kentucky Wesleyan College as an Assistant Football Coach, Quarterbacks Coach.
Burton played for Coach Craig Yeast at Franklin College. He was named back-to-back Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year after his junior and senior seasons. Burton led NCAA Division III with 3,916 passing yards and 43 touchdowns in 2017. In his career, Burton threw for a school record 11,579 yards and 121 touchdowns passes.
After his final season with the Grizzlies, Burton collect a number of high honors. He was named North Region Offensive Player of the Year and D3Fooball.com First Team All-Region. Burton was named a First Team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) as well as earning Second Team Little All-American honors from the Associated Press (AP).
Burton is a recent graduate of Franklin College where he majored in Exercise Science.
