Kentucky Wesleyan College Athletics

Jerrod Moore joined the Kentucky Wesleyan College Department of Athletics as the Head Cheerleading Coach in the summer of 2019.

A native of Owensboro, Ky., Moore was a five-year member of Western Kentucky University cheerleading squad where he continued his education and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science.

The Owensboro Catholic High School graduate was also an active member of the cheerleading team and instructor at the local Cheer Zone Inc facility. Moore continues to instruct and coach youth as an instructor at Cheer Zone and travels to many local schools in the tri-state.

Moore joined the U.S. Army in 2005 as an E1/Private and climbed his way to WO1/Warrant Officer.

Moore later deployed in 2010-2011 to Iraq and is an active Army Reserve member of the armed forces today.  Moore currently serves as Army Reserve Administrator for the 380th Quarter Battalion Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment.
