High School: Three-year starter at Heritage Hills...played second and third base, the outfield and pitched...batted .229...played in 21 games...posted a 2.64 earn run average...had a 6-1 record with five saves...pitched 47.2 innings in 19 contests...recorded 41 strikeouts...helped the Patriots to a 23-6 record, the sectional title and t the regional final...coached by Dave Sensenbrenner...three-year letterwinner on the basketball squad...member of the National Honor Society.
