High School: First team all-state selection as a junior in 2009 when the Bulldogs won the State Championship with a 29-1 record...twice chosen all-conference and all-district at catcher...named Defensive Most Valuable Player..batted .307 at the plate as a senior in 2010...recorded a .573 slugging percentage...had 23 hits in 75 plate appearances...knocked in 28 runs...posted five doubles and five home runs...as a junior, produced a .400 batting average and a .625 slugging percentage...had 32 hits in 80 at bats...posted 30 runs batted in...had 10 doubles, one triple and two home runs...collected a .355 career batting average...coached by Jeff Graviett...member of National Honor Society and National Art Honor Society.
