One of the most storied players in Kentucky Wesleyan history, Ben Wilcoxson returned in 2023-24 as an assistant coach for the Panthers baseball team.

In 2022-23, Wilcoxson was an assistant coach at Oakland City University and helped the Mighty Oaks set a school record for wins in a season. He also played professionally for the Birmingham-Bloomfield Beavers of the United Shores Professional Baseball League. He played every game at shortstop and was named All-League First-Team.

A multiple time G-MAC All-Conference and one time All-Region honoree, Wilcoxson left his mark at Kentucky Wesleyan, playing in 203 career games and starting 201 of them. Throughout his career, Wilcoxson finished with 199 hits, 139 runs scored, 85 doubles, and 26 doubles. He holds a career batting average of .303 and an on-base percentage.Â
