Team Requests:

At least once and often twice each year, we poll the coaching staffs of our 17 sports to ask them what they need to enhance their programs over and above budgeted items and services to enhance the scholar-athlete experience. Many times, the request is for an additional piece of equipment. Other times, it's a request to help defray the costs for social functions involving that sport's alums and/or scholar-athlete parents.

Scholar-Athlete Awards Banquet:
The Panther Athletic Fund underwrites the costs of all the awards distributed at this annual event. This special night recognizes our scholar-athletes and cheerleaders each spring. It's also our way of saying "thank you" to the senior class for their hard work and determination during their four years at Wesleyan.

Athletic Hall of Fame Weekend:
Established in 2013, Kentucky Wesleyan celebrates its storied tradition of excellence with the athletic hall of of fame. This is our way to recognize and honor former student-athletes, coaches and individuals who have made an impact on the College's athletic program. This Hall of Fame creates a focal point for alumni, family, friends and current students, faculty and staff to celebrate our history of intercollegiate athletic competition. The weekend kicks off with the annual Panther Athletics Golf Outing. Proceeds and sponsorships from this four-person scramble support the Panther Athletic Fund and the Athletic Department Fund.

Hospitality Areas:
It's important to give back to those who support our cause. That's why the Panther Athletic Fund hosts a pre-game tailgate at each home football game as well as a halftime social during each basketball game. We want to thank you for your devotion to enhancing the lives of Wesleyan's scholar-athletes.

Alumni Reunions:

If you've played for the Panthers, you've balanced athletics and academics, made deep friendships, been strengthened by setbacks and known the pure joy of victory. You've pushed beyond limits, acheived you goals... and had an unreasonable amount of fun!

Our former lettermen have a strong affinity for their alma mater. They enjoy returning to campus to compete in alumni games and take part in reunions with their former classmates. The Panther Athletic Fund strongly supports them in these endeavors.
