2024: Recorded 1655 yards on 44 punts as a redshirt sophomore... averaged 37.6 yards per punt... earned First Team All G-MAC honors... finished the season fourth in career history in punt average at Kentucky Wesleyan... named to the Dean's List both semesters.

Before KWC: Spent two seasons at William Jewell College... tallied two punts for 30 yards as a redshirt freshman in 2023... did not appear in a game as a true freshman before redshirting in 2022... named to the Dean's List twice at WJC.

Personal/High School: Fitness and sports management major... Exercise science minor... 2x All-Region punter, 1x All-Region kicker, holds the school record for longest punt at 65 yards, and was named to the All-Star Senior Team at Arlington HS... earned Honor Roll recognition... son of Richard and Shannon DeShields... two siblings, Cooper and Shelby.
