Why I chose Wesleyan:

    I chose Kentucky Wesleyan College as my new home because of its welcoming environment and high-spirited atmosphere! Athletes, coaches, and professors are encouraging both in the classroom and on the court. I am pursuing my bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and have gained many new friendships with others on this degree path. Despite the toughness of leaving a large and close-knit family back home, moving away has given me the chance to branch out and experience this same closeness and desire to reach success with teammates and peers. I am grateful for the opportunity of being able to join other hard-working and encouraging women on such a successful and respected women's basketball team such as Wesleyan's! "And let us not become weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9

    "Reeva is my girllllll. Every day that we are in the weight room me and Reeva will get each other hyped up for the set we are about to do. I'm her benching spotter so each time she gets ready to bench she says, "alright Lou don't let me die" and we really just create a great lifting atmosphere for each other. And in practice Reeves will whip out some CRAZY passes that just get the whole team hyped up. So, Reeves is definitely someone I'm looking forward to playing beside this year!"
