Why I chose Wesleyan:

    When it came to looking for another school to play for, it was a no brainer that Kentucky Wesleyan was the school for me. One of my main reasons for choosing the school is the area that the school is located in reminds me a lot of being home. Being 10 hours away from my family, it was very important to me that I found my family away from home, which is exactly what I have here. Being an athlete at Kentucky Wesleyan has allowed me to gain close friendships with people on and off my team that will last until I graduate.

I’ve learned so much from T in the past year and she doesn’t know how thankful I am. Tahlia is always in to do goofy things with me and not afraid to look crazy, and I love that about her!"

    "I mean what ISN’T there to say about Tahlia. She is one of the funniest girls you’ll ever meet, and never fails to make you smile if you’re in the same room. But my favorite memories of T come right before practice as we’re getting ready in the locker room. Every single day we get a Tahlia Walton concert, and it really helps put everyone in a good mood before practice even starts."

Tahlia has made a huge impact on this team in a lot of ways but especially by bringing a different type of toughness and competitiveness to practice and games every single day. She is the type of player who makes everyone around her better. She also has some pretty good dance moves. Watching her grow even in these short two years of playing together has been awesome. She is always pushing herself to improve on and off the court and I can’t wait for this season together!"

She is able to converse with anyone about anything and she really enjoys listening to other’s perspectives, as she understands that there are so many differences out there. She appreciates where she has been and is willing to help others who may need the same support."
