Why I chose Wesleyan:

    I chose Wesleyan because I felt at home as soon as I arrived. I am blessed to continue my basketball career with a successful team full of amazing players and coaches that feel like family to me. I am majoring in exercise science and I love the program here. Moving almost five hours away from home is never a fun thing to take on but the endless support from friends and faculty here has made it all worthwhile.

There is not a day that goes by that she doesn’t make me laugh.  I love the energy and happiness she brings to everything she does, and I am so grateful to have her as a friend and teammate."

    "Shay is super easy to be around. She has a carefree attitude, is fun and funny, but can be serious if the time calls for it. She brings some light-heartedness to tense situations, and is able to bring determination to tough situations. Shay is liked by many because of her work ethic, personality, and willingness to support others. She is always willing to go hard in everything we do. She knows the small details matter and she finds ways to make sure she is sticking to doing all the small details well. Although Shay does not speak out a lot, when she does, her words are exactly what we needed."
