Junior College: Played one season at Wabash Valley (Jr.) College in Ina, Ill…batted .284…knocked in 12 runs…scored 22 runs…helped the Warriors to the Region 24 Championship and a trip to the NJCAA tournament with a 43-3 record…coached by Paul Schnarre.
High School: All-state performer at Tecumseh…help lead the Braves to the Class A state championship game in 2008…batted .500 as a junior and senior…four-year starter…primary played third base plus the outfield for coach Gordon Wood…leadoff hitter…stole 41 bases as a senior…set the school season and career record for batting and steals in 2008 and 2009…twice named All-Pocket Athletic Conference and All-Area team…earned Best Offensive Award as a junior and senior…posted a .625 on-base percentage…only struck out six times in 114 at bats as a senior…led the Tri-State in stolen bases for two seasons…also played volleyball for four season and basketball for three, and ran track for one year…also a two-year member of the cheerleading squad…member of National Honor Society…selected as president of junior class.
