2012: Batted .500 with two hits in four at-bats…scored one run…had three walks…appeared in 12 games with 11 starts on the mound…recorded a 5.50 ERA with a 3-6 record…threw a fourth-best 52.1 innings…collected 34 strikeouts…shared one shutout…posted .952 fielding percentage with 17 putouts and three assists…played in 17 games with 12 starts.
 
2011: Played in 10 games with three starts…had one bat with two walks…scored one run…made seven appearances on the mound with three starts…posted a 1-2 record with a 10.1 ERA…threw 19.2 innings and 14 strikeouts…posted a 1.000 fielding percentage with two putouts and four assists.

2010: Saw action in four contests…batted .500 with two hits in four at bats…knocked in one run…scored one run.

High School: 2008 Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches honorable mention all-state selection...posted a 5-3 record as a junior in 2007 with 58 strikeouts in 59 innings pitched in leading the Eagles to a 31-12 record and 2007 state semifinal finish. He also played first base and the outfield where he batted .362 with 34 runs batted in and nine doubles, two triples. Edge led the Eagles with 19 stolen bases.
