OWENSBORO, Ky. – Former Great Midwest Athletic Association All-Conference First Team honoree Logan McIntire will wear a Kentucky Wesleyan College uniform for the 2026-27 season. McIntire, who spent 2025-26 at Division I Central Michigan, played for head coach
Drew Cooper and the Panthers from 2023-25.
In his most recent season for Wesleyan in 2024-25, the sharpshooter averaged 14.0 points and 5.3 rebounds while shooting a conference-best 48% from outside the arc, a percentage that put him third in all of Division II in that category. In his lone season for the Chippewas, the guard averaged 10.5 points and 2.3 rebounds in 24.6 minutes per game. He led CMU in three-point field goals made (80) and free-throw percentage (78.8) while shooting 40.4% from three-point range.
McIntire solidifies a roster that will see nine returners from last year's team. The returners include 2026 All G-MAC performer
Jorge Sanchez-Ramos and fellow starter
Ke'Andre Jones.
Among the six newcomers are NCAA Division I transfers
Matthew Bothun (University of North Dakota),
Fallou Gueye (Sacred Heart University), and
Connor Loy (Jacksonville State University). Freshmen
Terrence Burri (iSchool Prep) and
Brodey Cuffle (Academy of Central Florida) will be making their college basketball debuts with the Panthers. Freshman
Drew Wilkas from Princeton High School will join as a preferred walk-on.
