SMYRNA, Tenn. – The Kentucky Wesleyan softball team (1-3, 0-0 G-MAC) fell in the final two games of the Music City Invitational on Saturday.
The Panthers faced off against former G-MAC foe Trevecca Nazarene in the first game of the day. The Trojans scored nine runs in the first two innings, ultimately defeating Wesleyan 14-3 in five innings.
Hannah Beasley went 2-2 with an RBI and a walk. Each of Bailey Markus, Chloe Apple, Kennedy Matheis, and Cami Cox recorded a hit. Matheis was responsible for the other Wesleyan RBI in the game.
KWC was defeated 21-0 by Indianapolis in their fourth and final game of the weekend in Smyrna.
The Panthers next head to the Charger Invite in Huntsville, Alabama, for six total games between February 13-15, beginning with a doubleheader versus Miles College at 3:30 PM on the 13th.
