MIDLAND, Mich. – Kentucky Wesleyan Football (0-5, 0-3 G-MAC) led early twice but ultimately fell to #14 Northwood (5-0, 2-0) 14-59 Saturday at Hantz Stadium.
Tyler Thompson completed 10 of 16 passes for 106 yards and a touchdown, while
Camron Brogan led the Panthers with seven receptions for 73 yards.
Dominick Hollis rushed for 10 yards and a touchdown.
Josh Noble led the Kentucky Wesleyan defense with six tackles.
Northwood scored twice in the first quarter to take a 13-7 lead before Kentucky Wesleyan answered early in the second.
Tyler Thompson connected with
Kamani Barbour on a 22-yard touchdown pass, giving the Panthers a 14-13 advantage with 10:46 remaining in the first half.
The lead was short-lived, as Northwood scored three more times before halftime, including a 39-yard field goal, to take a 31-14 lead into the break.
The Timberwolves added two touchdowns in the third quarter and two more in the fourth to pull away. Northwood finished with 550 yards of total offense, including 488 passing yards.
