Owensboro, Ky. – As announced by the league office on Thursday, four Panthers have been named to the All G-MAC teams for the 2024-25 season.
Edward Jones Jr., Logan McIntire, and Kennedy Miles were named to the First Team All G-MAC and Quentin Toles was named to the Second Team All G-MAC after the four led the Panthers to the #2 seed in the G-MAC Championship Tournament.
After being named to the Second Team All G-MAC last season, Jones Jr. averaged 13.5 points and 3.7 rebounds while shooting over 50% from the field on his way to being named to the first team this season. His best outing came on 1/29 vs. Thomas More in which he poured in a career-high 26 points on 13-17 shooting from the field, including three thunderous slams.
McIntire was the best three-pointer shooter in the G-MAC and the third best in all of Division II this season, hitting at a 48% clip from outside the arc. He averaged a team-high 14.0 points and 5.3 rebounds, highlighted by a career-high 30 points on 11/23 vs. King and a 25-point, 14-rebound double-double on 2/20 vs. Ashland.
Miles was named to the First Team All G-MAC for the second consecutive season after totaling 12.8 PPG, 3.5 RPG, and a conference-leading 4.4 APG. The point guard had 12 games with 5+ assists and tallied a season-high 24 points on 8-13 from the field and 4-8 from deep on 1/16 at Ohio Dominican.
In his first year at Wesleyan, Toles formed a terrific backcourt with Miles and totaled 13.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game. The junior guard had a career-high 29 points on 12-18 shooting overall and 4-7 from three-point range on 12/14 at Ashland and finished the season strong with three straight 22+ point games.
