Nashville, Tenn. – The Kentucky Wesleyan softball team fell in both games of their doubleheader vs. Trevecca Nazarene on Wednesday afternoon in the Music City.
The Panthers (4-16, 0-2 G-MAC) were defeated 7-0 in the first game of the day. Augusta Garr, Lexie Onyett, Grace Colvin, Hannah Beasley, AJ Middleton, and Immi Mann each recorded a hit in the loss.
The Trojans (18-8, 7-8 GSC) scored three runs in the second, two in the third, one in the fourth, and one in the fifth on their way to the shutout victory.
In the second game of the afternoon, Wesleyan again failed to get one across the plate, falling 11-0 in five innings.
Mann and Chloe Apple were responsible for the Panthers' two hits. Trevecca tallied seven runs in the first and one in each of the next three frames to clinch the win.
Wesleyan jumps right back into G-MAC play this weekend, beginning with a doubleheader at Malone. Game times are set for 11:00 AM & 1:00 PM in Canton, Ohio, with live streams available on the Great Midwest Digital Network.
